Mintfolio (“we”, “the app”) is a personal catalog application for physical coins and commemorative medals. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Important: Mintfolio is for real-world collectible coins and medals only. It is not related to cryptocurrency, digital assets, securities, trading, or financial advice.
Your collection data — including coin details, photos, albums, series progress, journals, wishlist items, notes, and settings — is stored locally on your device. We do not require account registration and do not collect your name, email address, or other personally identifiable information through the collection features of the app.
Core catalog features work offline. When you use the Search feature on the Home screen, the app may send a network request to look up matching content. If a match is found, related web content may open inside the app. Collection data stored on your device is not uploaded as part of this lookup. Third-party websites you open may have their own privacy practices.
Photo library and camera access are requested only when you choose to add images to a coin record. Photos remain in the app’s local storage and are not uploaded by us.
Clipboard access is used only when you tap export, backup, restore, copy inventory, or similar actions, so you can paste content into Notes or another app you choose. We do not read clipboard data without your action.
Mintfolio does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking for marketing purposes. IDFA / advertising tracking is disabled.
Mintfolio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can delete individual records inside the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be available in the app and on this page, with a revised “Last updated” date.
